January may be the month when the fewest species are blooming at the Arboretum. Having spent most of the month in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, I was not able to spend as much time there as in previous months, but that was okay since most of what is blooming I have already photographed. I'm looking forward to the new Garden for All Seasons, and keeping my eyes open for blooming species that I haven't seen before. |
