RANCHO SAN ANTONIO COUNTY PARK AND OPEN SPACE
PRESERVE, SANTA CLARA COUNTY

On my recent trip up north to fly on the zeppelin 'Eureka,' I had a couple of free hours which I spent going for a walk in this county park near where some friends of ours live. I didn't expect that I would see a great deal of flora, and that was the case, but in addition to those invasive taxa that are present both here and equally farther south, I was able to photograph a few things, including at least a couple of species that were new to me (indicated by an upside-down V next to the common name). Since this locale is way out of my area of familiarity, I hope to be forgiven for any taxonomic mistakes, but perhaps my knowledgeable colleagues from this area will correct any such. An asterisk indicates a non-native species.
