Mamie, who came to us at about nine pounds, and Pearl, who was about 12 pounds when she came, are now both 30 pounds. They have created a fierce and loving bond with each other, and are enjoying their lives at our house. They love whipped cream, crunching up plastic water bottles, play-fighting, chewing up our vegetation, and chasing each other around the yard. Every day they swim in the pool and/or take long walks around town. They have been spayed, officially licensed, and blessed by the Episcopal Church. They have attended a puppy class. Mamie has lost all of the black hairs on the top of her head, but still has little black patches in front of her ears. They both have freckled noses, long velvety ears and soft freckled tummies.
