Aloe babatiensis is a native aloe of the higher
elevations (5000'-7000') of Tanzania with an inflorescence of bright
yellow flowers and long narrow green leaves armed with sharp teeth.
Its species name presumably refers to its location at Babati in the
Mbulu District of the Northern Province of Tanzania, and so might be
called the Babati aloe. It can become a moderately-sized shrub.
